Once you’re ready to start planning and fill out the contact form, and we’ll set up a time for a phone call. This will allow me to get to know you on a personal level and I can have a clear understanding of how to best serve and plan for you.
Research & Proposal
Now it’s my time to get to work matching the feedback you’ve given me to the right experience and destination for you! I use my expertise and work with destination partners to present your customized itinerary to you.
Tweak & Book
After you review your proposal, we will make adjustments based on your preferences and lock in your official plan! Once your deposit is made, your vacation is officially in motion! I will be there for you step by step until you return. All that’s left is get the countdown started!
Pack Your Bags
This is the fun part! You get to pack and go enjoy the trip we have planned. Lines of communication will remain open for any support, if needed. Upon your return, we would love to hear about your trip, and even start planning your next one!

Hello and Welcome
My name is Heather, and I’m the owner and travel advisor at Trouvaille Travel. If you’re here, it means you are in the early stages of planning a vacation that must be really important to you, and I’m so glad you’ve reached out.
For me, traveling isn’t just about taking pictures and checking places off of a bucket list, it is about choosing to invest in your most important relationships, deliberately slowing life down, and letting the magic of a place inspire you and breathe fresh life into your spirit as well as your closest relationships. Helping my clients create bright, meaningful memories that they will reflect on often and carry with them for the rest of their lives is what gives me goosebumps when I go to work, and why I do what I do.
It’s never just about the logistics of travel (although I handle that, too). It’s about getting to know you and making sure you get goosebumps too.
Trouvaille Travel was born in 2022 after planning my own destination wedding. I decided to take a lifetime of passion for travel and turn it into a career. Since inception I have worked closely with my clients, bringing clarity and expertise to the planning process to free them to have wildly successful and altogether delightful experiences from start to finish. By working one-on-one with my clients, I’m able to get to know my clients on a personal level, to help bring to life once-in-a-lifetime vacations.
I live in northern IL with my husband Dustin, and two children, Carter and Beckham. We love traveling together, making colorful memories that are not just plastered all over the walls of our home, but also all over each of our hearts, and I can't wait to help you create your own memories!
